Does regular barbie furniture fit into the kidkraft savannah doll house?

i want to buy a new doll house but have a lot of barbie furniture.. am looking at the kidkraft doll houses. does anyone use regular barbie furniture in it as well?

Barbie is 1:6 scale. In dollhouse-speak, that is playscale. Much of her larger accessories, like cars, are 1:7 scale or smaller. This is fine for play, but pretty useless to scale miniaturists. Barbie might be able to stand up in this dollhouse, but it's doubtful that her furniture will fit. Also, the furniture that comes with it is a way smaller scale.

There are comparably priced playscale dollhouses out there (Google [playscale dollhouses]), but many of us just modify deeper bookshelves. 16" spacing of shelves is the "scale" ideal, but 13" spacing works for play.
