I'm looking for the name of a cute movie I saw on TV...?

I saw the movie on TV and the movie's case in a video rental store but I cannot remember the name of it. It had a young girl and her father in it (whose mother had died). The girl got an old book of spells to learn how to bring her mother back to life but instead brought a doll to life. The doll was like a very beautiful Barbie doll; her favorite thing to do was shop and did a lot of that throughout the movie. She felt she had worked in almost every career (as Barbie "has"?) but did not have the skills. I think the girl's father may have started to have feelings for the doll-woman.

Did anyone else see this delightful movie? Does anyone know the name of it or who starred in it? A girl I work with reminds me of the doll and was curious of the name of the movie. Thank you for your help!!
