I was wondering if anyone knew how to make crochet patterns for Barbie to the size of Kelly's wrist. Thanks?

All pattern books Crochet will tell you the needle size is approximate list and to a sample of the first test to judge the exact size. Some people crochet tight, some crochet loose, and this is a factor in the size of the finished garment. The size and type of thread is also a factor. There are some things I've done (and squares) where I had to use three or four needles of different sizes to get all the squares to come out the same size. When a model is reduced to a size Barbie Kelly probably would go down three needle sizes. Keep in mind that if you also change to a smaller thread (crochet yarn crochet thread instead, for example) may have to go just for a needle size. It is a trial and error type of thing. Try a simple pattern first, and adjust needle sizes as necessary. (The same number of stitches are used, just smaller needles and / or lower thread.) I just go in reverse. I had to broaden my crochet patterns for Barbie fit a double size wrist. Trial and error taught me to crochet floss regular 4-layer and two larger sizes of the needle. I have a fact, without however, and looks pretty good to me ...!
