PSP or Ninetendo DS for my 4 year old niece?

Hey, I wanna buy one of these for my little niece. I know that PSP is more for adults, but I still wanted to make sure. Which system has better games for a 4 year old (in terms of educational games, "barbie" games, etc) and is overall more suited in terms of gameplay and ease of learning? Thanks a Lot!!!

The PSP is designed for pockmarked, pale, overweight 30-year-olds to exit the din of mom's basement and venture out into the real world, all while keeping their gaming "fix".
For the same reasons you wouldn't buy a pop-up-book for a blind child, or gloves for an amputee, the PSP might be a little advanced for younger gamers, using a complicated control "nub" for movement.
The Nintendo DS has more visually stimulating, yet simple and fun, games for the younger ones, and the addition of a touch-screen and stylus help to enhance their writing practice and motor skills, and you can feel somewhat justified that your neice might actually learn something from those danged video games.

...but in the end, it's your money being spent on the rugrat, so take this as you may.
