Game like Guitar Hero?

I'm trying to find a gift for my 12 yr. old cousin. She loves guitar hero, and doesn't have it but she doesn't have a game console. I can't get her the console, so are there any games like guitar hero that hook straight up to the t.v.? And not the barbie one, hopefully one that has more than three buttons. Thank You!
